Set in the heart of rural Gascony, with stunning views of the Pyrenees this sypathetically restored property offers a perfect retreat for a tranquil, relaxing holiday.

Gascony is situated in the South West region of France. It is one of the most unspoilt and beautiful regions of France, renowned for its gastronomy, namely Armagac, Foie Gras and its hearty country wines.

The area has plenty to offer. It boasts rolling hills complete with Bastide towns and villages, fields of sunflowers and maize, vineyards producing Madarin wines and Armagnac, swimming and surfing on the beautiful sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, skiing and walking in the Pyrenees and further south to Spain. It is little wonder that the Gascons have a reputation for living the longest!

With its own private 12m x 6m swimming pool, which is alarmed and fenced, and large flat garden, the property is ideal for families.

We are able to accommodate up to 6 people. There are three bedrooms in the House.

Accommodation is flexible.

The pretty Bastide of Mielan, with boulangerie, supermarket and bars is situated just 5kms away. The internationally renowed Marciac Jazz Festival is 30 minutes drive.

The region is easily accessible with weekly flights to Toulouse, Pau and Biarritz. You are able to reach the Pyrenees within an hour and the Spanish border and West Coast within 2 hours.

Golf is an another leisure activity enjoyed by many Gascons and the region has some beautiful courses. The course at Pallane, in the grounds of a chateau, is only 15 minutes from the property.
